Artists Statement

People, their moods and expressions and have been of great interest to me. In my portraits I try to capture the their emotions and personality and something of what I feel for them or the subject. I use a variety of medium ranging from oil on canvas, charcoal on paper to the digital medium. Regardless of the medium, my focus remains fixed on the human figure.
