I am a portrait artist. My portfolio consist of pencil drawings and acrylic paintings. I love drawing portraits in black pencil because it creates powerful artwork, also I use linear drawing alongside smoothly shaded drawing to emphasis the subject of the artwork in more dramatic way.

I often use photographs to draw / paint portraits on one hand to avoid hours of posing, while portrait is being done, and on the other for the ease of keeping the element of surprise for the recipient.
