Artists Statement

I paint in oil, on small canvasses, and most of my paintings are done in the open air. I have an impressionist technique, inspired my Monet and Van Gogh, and I like to fill my pictures with as much colour and depth as I can. I paint for fun, usually at the weekend, when I tie it in with camping trips in the countryside.
