Born in Beverley and a previous Textiles student of Riley art college.





Most of my pieces have been created in either the UK, Belgium or Cyprus.  They are always of mixed media, as I enjoy experimenting and pushing materials and ideas to their limits.  My ideas are created from a range of experiences, whether it be a favourite colour at that particular time, a headache or the effect that a person may have on me.

 

The first pieces of art that captured my emotions and ideas were that of Marc Chagall and Vasily Kandinsky, very emotional and vibrant, they scream out for a reaction.

 

My paintings are all one-offs, no two are ever the same.  I know that the idea I have just for that few seconds will never return in exactly the same way ever again, but it will be on that one canvas forever.
