Simons artistic career started at a
very young age. On Saturdays, he would often be found drawing on the back of
beer mats at the local working mans club whilst his grandparents played Bingo.
Having developed his technical and creative skills he went on to excel at art
throughout school, and study GNVQ art at Rotherham College of Arts and
Technology. At degree level Simon took his creativity and love for art into the
photographic field, where he combined photography with oil painting to create a
unique mixed media style.
