I produce contemporary functional objects which are inspired by the organic fluency of flower petals and the movement of Ray sharks and fish tails. A personal language of shapes and forms were developed from these inspirations. I am interested in producing groups of vessels that are a variation on a theme and interact with each other, yet retain their very individual characteristics. The forms certainly captured the organic fluency of the inspirations. I want viewers to interact with my work, touching them to follow the curve of the forms.My origin is Taiwan and my work certainly contains elements of both the east and west. I seek for balance, Zen and calmness in the work.
