Painting is my life, love and passion. I paint plein air and in studio. Plein Air painting challenges me to see color, shadow, light and atomsphere and translate that into paintings that inspire the viewer to look and study the colors and the play between light and shadow. My challenge to try and capture the creativity that Mother Nature provides us every day endlessly.

As Executive Director for Kevin Macpherson's "Reflection On A Pond" exhibit and procurement, I have the opportunity to study Mr. Macpherson's motivations and paintings. My painting and life can't help but be effected by the presence of this master painter.

As I continue on my artistic journey, I'm always focusing on what I learned, what I need to improve, and how I can help the world take a moment to escape into the beauty that is right before them. I hope my work inspires everyone to take time to escape to see the beauty.
