Artists Statement

Rescued, re-imagined, re-used: I create two- and three-dimensional collages from everyday junk.

Working with found images, graphics and patterns and discarded materials, such as cardboard, wooden off-cuts, plastic and wallpaper, I use techniques including printing, marquetry and casting to apply my two-dimensional collages to three-dimensional surfaces.

I offer a range of two- and three-dimensional collage items, from limited edition wooden building blocks and prints to one-off wall pieces and commissioned items of furniture. From summer 2008, my collages will also appear as prints on a new childrenswear line, Riot & Return: http://www.riotandreturn.co.uk.

As a designer-maker working with recycled materials, I create prints, wall pieces and customised items of furniture. I also run participatory arts workshops, based on my creative practice, for children and adults.

I studied BA (Hons) Design Crafts at Hereford College of Arts from 2002-5 and in 2007 held a solo exhibition of my work at Prema Arts Centre in Uley, Gloucestershire.
