Andrew was born in Bury in 1956 and grew up in Hoylake. He now lives in Byfleet, Surrey
Andrew served an apprenticeship with Garrard's the Crown Jewellers in London and found his passion for photography quite by accident after running a contemporary jewellery gallery called Twig in West Byfleet. After a number of problems with new parking regulations started by the local council which resulted in trade disappearing from the high street, Andrew was left redundant with only a camera used for jewellery evaluation.
He started experimenting with the camera and enjoyed it so much, over the last 3 years he has taught himself the art of photography mostly by using the internet

Wow. I am really impressed that you have only been a photographer for the past 3 years. Nice compositions and fabulous eye for color. Great work!
