Description

In this eruption of gold, black, and red, volcanos throw molten rock into the sky as a setting sun adds to the glow on the mountaintops. Translucent layers of mulberry paper, metallic paint, and image transfer create a deep, rich surface. This collage on 300lb watercolor paper is mounted on archival mat board so that it can be matted and framed while leaving the deckle edge showing. The artists's chop mark is applied to the front. The back of the mat board is signed and dated.
