A cracked pavement leads to a traditional natural landscape image with three rocks situated in the middleground, behind it a rose coloured background. This also appears to be a wall as graffiti and erosion appear on the sides. The rocks also bleed down the canvas. The colours are warm with heavy linear design in the foreground.
The intention is to explore the boundaries of perspective, painting and modern nature as a work of art. I am interested in the break down of man made structures and its presence against nature. I also wish to trial ways of seeing an image. Using symbolism and playing with perspective and lighting in painting. To try to explore the possibilities of painting when using a realist style.
