This is a series of photographs taken of a run down house in the early stages of refurbishment. I am exploring how we view this bare space. It is a house in its rawest state and appears vulnerable and exposed. Some of the photos show a space that conjures up ideas of dissection and violation. The walls have been stripped bare, chunks of floor and ceiling have been removed. All that is left is a shell, with no sign of a home except maybe a few small indication of past occupancy.
