Description

This is a painting from a series of casas/cajas (houses/boxes) paintings, which came about after travelling in Peru in 2005/6. Along the desert coastal road small box-like buildings can be seen, though there is no sign of life, whatsoever.
In this piece the paint has been applied and then removed in places to expose previous layers, such as the texture of the wood.
The painting size is 20x20cm, framed in an open black frame.
