Living in Edinburgh for most of my life, I often made the train journey down the East coast between Edinburgh and London. I loved looking out of the train window as the trackside cables rush by. There is a strange beauty to them, even though they seem to reach across the land for as far as the eye can see, punctuating the natural scenery everywhere.
