Description

"Japanese Still Life" is one of a selection of artworks inspired by my love for flowers and Japanese art. This still life looks at a variety of Japanese objects, amongst some delicate Japanese style flowers. The piece was created with the use of colored inks and a pipette. This technique allowed by to create a sense of movement with in the piece, as well as depicting the delicate nature of the chosen pieces. The soft color palette of pinks, beige and blues, give the artwork a soft appeal, which is very aesthetically pleasing. The artwork is currently unframed, but does come with a white mount ready for framing.
