Description

"Mauve Peonies with Bottles" is one of a selection of artworks inspired by my love of flowers and Japanese art. This piece looks at 3 very stylized peonies amongst a selection of Japanese patterned vases. The delicate nature of the flowers work beautifully with the strong bold Japanese patterns of the vases. The artwork was created with the use of colored inks, which allowed me to create a sense of depth as well as capturing the movement and feel of the flowers. The soft color palette of mauve's and purples are very aesthetically pleasing. The artwork would look great hung on a wall. Currently the piece is unframed, but does come with a white mount so is ready for framing. On purchase the artwork will be delivered rolled in a tube, unless other wise specified by the customer.
