Description

"Japanese Gerberas" is one of a selection of my paintings, which was influenced by the pattern of the Japanese kimono and its striking beauty. The selection of patterns in this piece amongst the delicate gerberas creates an intense one of piece. The piece like the kimono aims to create a distinctive look. The background is made up of a selection of re and gold coloured patterns produced using a mixture of medias. While the beautiful gerberas are painted with ink and inter cut with the background.
