Description

"Blue Chrysanthemums" is the second artwork in a collection inspired by my love of flowers and the Japanese kimono. This piece looks at a selection of chrysanthemums. These stylized chrysanthemums are painted with the use of ink and a pipette, creating a very delicate look. The flowers are then inter cut onto a Japanese inspired patterned ground. The contrasting color palette of blue and olive green, creates a bold, fresh piece.
