The world famous Falls of Clyde, by Lanark in Scotland, painted by artists such as JMW Turner and Jacob More and a short walk from the artist's home, provided the perfect combination of snow, ice, freezing temperatures and a beautiful glowing sunset, which contrasted with the ever changing colours through the trees as the light fell.
