Speaking in Tongues

Photo etch, collograph, chine colle and offset monoprint.
I made the original photo etch plate at Edinburgh print workshop in Scotland. They were a set of four prints. This piece was made before the democracy print and there are similarities in that we have again the notion of people playing games and not listening. Represented is the idea of undercurrents and of smaller people listening - which signifies the idea of people being affected by conflict and the hurt it causes.
