Another orriginal monoprint based on 16th century etchings of cannibals and in this case- shoemaking. The figures are constructing specific 'new deities' and taking in the 'old gods' to use for spare parts.
The image (and rest of the series) acts as a visual metaphor for the fragmentation, loss, and absorbtion of beliefs and previously important information into more modern systems. But they are also particulary interesting due to the hand-made approach to their creation, and the fact that each 'drawing' is unique.
