Description
Work made as a consequence of photographs taken at Iceberg Lakes in Iceland.
I used torn edges of the paper as part of the work (where the two pieces meet in the centre) I wanted to represent the idea of forms/colors present in the ice which is built up over time. I combined this with a diagrammatic icon made using intaglio collograph of a twin fetus. This representing the notion of the dual self ? this is connected to my own origins in that I am an adopted person so there is a missing narrative concerning my own origins.
