I believe that Art can be the ultimate expression of joy. It allows us to freely express what we feel and share it with the world. I had the blessing of privately studying in the late 1990's with the wonderful New York Artist Paula Neglia and I will always remain grateful for all I learned at her side - lessons about life, music and art as well as painting theory. Family and work obligations caused me to take some time away from painting until I retired and now I have been blessed with the luxury of time to dedicate myself to my true passion. I continue to learn and explore the world of using brush, palette knife and oil to put my feelings on a canvas.. I believe that there is music and beauty in the world around us and painting allows me to memoralize that vision on canvas.
