Description

This is an oil painting of an intimate view of the small crocus flower from my garden. The warm blue greens invite you to rejoice in the yellow orange center of the flower and all the glorious colors radiating out into the petals. The painting continues around all four edges of the canvas eliminating the need for framing. Even though it wasn’t my intention I’m told the style is reminiscent of Georgia O’Keefe.
