Description

These are actually not popular trees but the nesting colonies of the sociable weavers in the Kalahari desert.
The weaver birds build their nests in high trees or in this case man made poles. The nesting material is harvested by local farmers to be sold as an industrial fire retardant and gets it's color from the nearby Red dunes.
