Description

"Blue Lilies" is the forth painting in my series of Japanese inspired floral artworks. The piece looks at a mixture of delicate lilies, beautifully inter cut onto a ground of blue and green textures. This series of works was heavily influenced by the striking designs of the Japanese kimonos: their sense of story and pattern. I have used a mixture of inks and embossing in this piece to create a sense of depth and texture. The sophisticated colour palette of greens and blue make it perfect for any room.
